The asteroid isn't directed for earth, it's directed for a small planet tucked away undetected right under this planet. Sadly said planet has a force field that protects it from such interactions but if this planet blows up the one below it goes with it. Don't concern yourself with why I want to see this planet burn just know that you would want it to burn as much as I do. Now this girl won't survive another 5 minutes so i suggest we strike a deal. My TARDIS works perfectly fine but i expect you would have figured out my plan and stopped it with your nifty screwdriver and your ragtag little girlfriend over there. I want this TARDIS and yours doctor and this girl can live or she can die here and I promise she is in an unbearable amount of pain.¨

Victor stood in the shadows, almost unnoticed, as he watched the scene unfolding, a seed of hatred for the Rani growing in the back of his mind. She had wasted on of his daughter's regenerations. Even now he could see the golden aura beginning to swirl around her.

As the Rani unfolded her master plan to Shadow, Victor could feel his hearts working overtime from the adrenaline pumping in his veins. He stepped out of the shadows to face the Rani. "You think you can just treat my daughter like that, waste her regeneration energy, and then just expect me to hand over my TARDIS? I don't think so. Now that she isn't in your grasp anymore, what do you think is going to stop me from returning that favor?" He picked up the deserted gun from the ground and pointed it at the Rani with shaking hands. "What do you think is going to keep me from pulling this trigger?" he hissed, his countenance darkened with anger and heartache.

The Rani started shaking with anger änd sadness ¨You don't understand. I'm not building my armada against anyone. I'm building it against the daleks! They burned my home my family! I had a life once... a magical one and mine too consisted of joy! but it was wrenched away by the daleks! I apologize I hurt your daughter but I can heal her without her using her regeneration energy but nothing will stand in my way of killing everylast dalek. Not even if I have to use my very last regeneration! So pull the trigger Valeyard because I won't stop fighting until every last one of them, so the question is Shadow not if i want to fight with you but if you want to fight with me.¨

The rani took out a device and punched a few buttons the electromagnetic field dissipated and Emily woke with a start and the rani disappeared.

As Emily awoke with a start and the Rani dissipated, Victor lowered the gun and breathed out a sigh of relief. "I believe that's enough adventure for today," he said quietly, his hearts still racing. Everyone exited his TARDIS as he flipped the chameleon switch again and it became a fireplace. Victor sat down on his couch, a bit stunned, as Emily sat close, equally so. This day had, so far, been the most adventure he had had in 100 years. It was good to be back.
