Victor ran a thumb across his jawline as he observed his face. It wasn't a bad one. The nose was a bit big, but it balanced with the rest of his features. He'd need to fix his hair up a bit, for at the moment it was cut in an odd, sort of emo style which wasn't the most flattering. Yes, the bangs hid his overlarge forehead, but it wasn't worth it. He looked like a rebellious seventeen year old. He made a few more faces in the mirror before he noticed the reflection of Shadow standing behind him.
"He-e-ello there," he said with a smirk. "Whaddya think of the new face?"

Victor could tell Shadow was drawing a blank. He rolled his eyes. "My face, Shadow. I just regenerated, remember?"

Victor looked at Shadow with a dead stare for a few moments, before bursting into a wide grin. "So that's what's wrong with it. I couldn't quite figure out what I didn't like. It's the forehead, isn't it? It's like three times normal size. And the voice, too."

Victor looked at Shadow, dismayed. "I'm allowed to say it. You, not so much. Besides, I don't think it's possible to change your voice with surgery? Unless you want it to be, like, higher and more feminine. But that's not the end goal. Plus I can do this now." Victor shrieked out a high note that sounded surprisingly good (and really sexy tbh) besides being intentionally bad.

Victor punched Shadow in the arm. "You're horrible. And you can't do it near as well as me. And you can't sing, you can't swim, you can't dance, and you don't know karate. Face it, you're never going to make it." Victor nearly facepalmed when he realized he was making references to a song by one of Emily's old favorite bands, the one he used to hate. My Chemical Romance. But he decided to just roll with it and softly hummed "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" to himself. Maybe he could get a job as a choir teacher when he went back to the human world, because god knew his last alibi was completely destroyed even more so than any time before.
