"Of course. He's an old friend." Seth smirked. He and Christopher hurried to Shadow's house where Seth knocked on the door loudly. He heard footsteps then the door flew wide open. "What... Do... You... Want?" A beautiful girl was standing in the door way looking rather exhausted. Aaron smiled innocently "Hello Romana, looking lovely as always. Is Shad-I mean Professor Shaw home?" Romana groweled "It's 3 am Seth what could you possibly need anyone for at this hour!?" Seth's grin grew wider "Will you please go get him. It's a personal matter." Romana looked like she wanted to say something but instead she rolled her eyes and walked inside while muttering something quite R rated under her breath.

Romana slammed the door in Seth's face. "Shadow! You know who's here to see you!" She yelled. I walked down the stairs into the foyer, where I addressed Seth. "What the **** do you ****ing want. It's three in the ****ing morning. What the **** do you want?" Then, seeing Christopher wheel out from behind him, I nicely said, "Hi!"

"What the **** do you ****ing want. It's three in the ****ing morning. What the **** do you want?" Christopher looked up in alarm from behind Seth. He knew that people were often rude when they were tired, he himself could be that way sometimes... but Professor Shaw took rude to a whole new level. However, when he noticed Christopher his expression softened slightly. "Hi." "Uh. Um.. hi?" Christopher replied awkwardly, still staying behind Seth in case Professor Shaw tried to shoot at them with a rifle or something.

"You don't need anything? Well, go away then. Me and my fiancee have to plan our wedding." I slammed the door, almost crushing Seth's nose. Then I opened the door again. "And stay... OUT!"

"You don't need anything? Well, go away then. Me and my fiancee have to plan our wedding." The door slammed in their faces. Almost immediately, rain began to sprinkle down. Christopher shifted uncomfortably. He didn't like rain, ha was a bit tired, and he had just been yelled at by a raving university professor. Fun. He knocked on Professor Shaw' s door again while Seth stood idle, possibly shocked by the violent reaction. "Excuse me, Professor Shaw, but could we please come in? Seth has something to talk to you about... and it's raining..."

"You want to come inside now? Romana! Can these people come in?" I heard a faint "No." I looked back at Chris and Seth. "Say... Do you guys think you can be quiet if I let you in? If you can, I'll let you in."

Aaron smirked. Any chance to mess with his old friend he would take. Romana will be mad at him but furious with L'Ombre. "I"M SORRY PROFESSOR SHAW BUT I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE RAIN. WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"

Dear lord. This was the woman Professor Shaw wanted to get married to? Well, to each his own... Christopher leaned out from behind Aaron. "Um, excuse me, Miss. But, it's just... it's raining, and we really need to talk to Professor Shaw. It's very important." Christopher still wasn't sure what they had come here for, but it had to be important if they were knocking on the door of a madwoman's house at three AM. This girl may have been angry and insane, but come on. He hated playing the guilt card but what kind of person would leave a crippled boy out in the rain, no matter if it were three in the morning.
