I interrupted the conversation, my celery falling off my jacket in the process. "Yes, she would. Now can we please get going?" I picked up the celery and attached it back. I looked over at Aaron, his tie no longer straight, coz of me. "Let's go. She will love it, and you..." I started walking along the stone path towards the river.

Let's go. She will love it, and you..." Victor smiled at the Shadow. "Well then, we should start moving." Victor hooked arms with Elizabeth and they began to walk towards the river. Victor looked towards Aaron and Emily, who were walking happily together. After discovering Aaron was the Rani's son, Victor had been tentative to let him continue in a relationship with his daughter, but this trip showed Aaron truly cared about Emily. Not daring to interrupt the silence or the moment, Victor said nothing when they arrived to the banks of the river, simply stopped walking and let the view speak for itself.

Elizabeth gasped at the beautiful view. The sun was just beginning to sink below the horizon, causing a deep red sky streaked with royal purples and rich yellows. It reflected off of the rushing river to intensify the beauty. She smiled, looking towards Victor. It had been a few days since she had discovered he had lied to her about his life, but she was beginning to forgive him, to see his point of view. Would she have believed him if he had told her as they started dating that he was an alien? No, she would have left him right then and there. Besides, she had had sixteen wonderful years of marriage. Would she desert that all because of one lie, no matter how large? Elizabeth hugged Victor tightly, continuing to be dazzled by the breathtaking sunset. "I... I forgive you," she whispered quietly.

Aaron leaned over to Victor and whispered to Victor ¨Now might be a good time.¨ Then he turned to Emily and pulled her closer to the slowly streaming river. He pulled out a small box with a ribbon on it and gave it to her. She opened it and gaped in awe at the beautiful earrings carefully accented with green and blue gems to match her complexion.

As Victor watched Aaron give the beautiful earrings to Emily, he pulled a bow of his own from his back pocket. Smiling at Elizabeth, he opened up the box, showing off a silver bracelet dripping with garnets. Watching her already wide smile grow, Victor stepped closer to her, watching the bloodred sun set in the sky.

I watched, and yelled, "DOES ANYONE REALIZE THAT I'M EVEN HERE?" All heads turned to me.

"DOES ANYONE REALIZE THAT I'M EVEN HERE?" Victor looked back, startled as the Shadow began to throw a hissy fit. "Calm down, Shadow," Victor said. "We notice you're here but it's your own fault for not bringing Romana with you." At this Victor looked a t his watch and realized how late it was getting. "We should head back to the TARDIS," He said, and began walking. When they reached the TARDIS, Victor snapped the doors open and they began to walk back in. closing the doors, Victor laid down a blanket from the side of the console room onto the ground, and placed some food he had purchased on a few plastic plates. Not authentically Roman, but hey. "Who's hungry?" he asked, sitting down on the edge of the blanket.

"I am!" I ran over and ate a cheeseburger (that I brought!). I also drank a glass of sweet tea. "So, my fault, eh? Nothin's ever MY fault."
